The election of Scott Brown in the Massachusetts senatorial election is a victory that transcends party affiliation and lets Washington know that the politics of bribery and secrecy that characterized Congress in the last year will not be tolerated by the American people. It also slows our nation's descent into socialism and bankruptcy. It's time now to elect more people who will restore the values of personal responsibility and justice on which our nation was founded.
And, on a somewhat less serious note . . . . .
As a Green Bay Packer fan, I am appalled at the success of Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings. Perhaps some day I will get over it and welcome my former hero back to Lambeau Field, but for the time being - Go Saints!
